Terms, in plain English.

This is how Meridian Studio works and what you can expect from us. It's written to be read, not to trip you up. It isn't legal advice for your own situation.

Who we are

Meridian Studio makes interactive 3D maps and websites for places. It's run by Presley. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

What we sell

Your land in 3D (one time, paid in full): 3D Map $99, a private link to a 3D map of a place you tell us about; Map + Poster $149, plus a printable poster file (letter and 18x24 PDF; you print it); Map + Flyover Film $199, plus a 30-second video. If it's a gift, a printable gift card is free.
Your property in 3D (one time, paid in full): Property Page $499; Page + Listing Film $799; Whole Sale $1,500 for up to 10 tracts and an overview map.
Your website with the map built in: Map on your current site $499 + $49/mo; Website + 3D Map $1,500 + $99/mo (50% deposit to go live, the rest at launch). We build a free private draft first; you pay only if you go live. The monthly fee covers hosting and keeping it running.
The free 3D preview on /start/land/. Free, no sign-up, a rough read from public terrain tiles.

Built from public data, for planning only

Our maps use public sources (county parcel GIS, USGS elevation and lidar, USDA aerial photos, FEMA flood maps, USGS water data, USFWS wetlands, NRCS soils), each shown with its source and date. Those sources can be out of date or wrong, and so can our reading of them.

A Meridian Studio map is not a survey, a flood determination, an engineering or soil report, an appraisal or a legal boundary. Don't use it to settle a boundary, get a permit, or decide whether something is safe to build. For those, hire a licensed surveyor, engineer or the right local office.

When we can't find a clean boundary in public records, we draw an approximate one, label it "approximate" on every screen, and tell you the timeline before we start.

Delivery

Land and property orders: within 48 hours of payment when the parcel is found automatically in public records (we show which before you pay); otherwise within 5 business days, and Whole Sale orders within 5 business days. The date is shown before you pay. If we miss it, you're refunded automatically. Website drafts: within 3 business days of your request.

Your part

Give us an accurate address or parcel number. Order maps of places you own or have a good reason to map, like a family member's land as a gift.
Don't use our maps or pages to harass anyone, or to claim they show something official.
For business work: only send us photos, logos and text you have the right to use.

Private links

Your map's link is unlisted and tells search engines not to index it, but anyone you share it with can open it. Treat it like a private photo album link. If we ever need to take a link offline, we'll email you first. The PDF is yours to keep.

Who owns what

You can use your map and PDF however you like for yourself, your family or your business. The software, design and page code behind it stay ours. The public data stays under its sources' terms. Business websites: the quote says what you own at launch.

Payment

Card payments go through Stripe, and you can also pay with PayPal or buy through Etsy. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are in US dollars.

Refunds

If it isn't right, we fix it; if we can't, full refund. The details are on the refunds page.

Limits

We work hard to get every map right, but we can't promise public data is error-free. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is the amount you paid for it, and we aren't responsible for decisions made by relying on a map instead of a survey or professional advice.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Orders already placed keep the terms they were placed under.
